These islands still have significant shortcomings, hotels, in general, are of basic standard - some are now improved. Restaurants are short of local ones and your choice for food is limited that they mostly serve Indonesian and Chinese cuisine. Worse, when it comes to service, person who are supposed to bring added values tend to be short-sighted in doing the business. Very far from frightening you, you might often encounter with inconvenience caused by the absence of professional and quality service.

Praise Mother Nature, these islands have few human dwellers determined to sustain and take care of it and, at the same time, fully realizing their roles to help facilitate your quest of afore-said values.     To ensure prompt confirmation, please supply us with the following details: name, total 

    number of person, arrival and departure schedule, hotel preferences and type of room

    requested. We will also need an Emergency contact details from you.

2. Communication :

    Communication and quotation will be sent to you by telephone, facsimile, or e-mail. 

    We do our best to answer all your inquiries immediately with the most careful 

    attention.

3. Fares and Arrangement :

    Price are quoted net in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah)

    Quoted costs of tour include planning, communication, pre arrangement, handling, and 

    operation charges

4. Payments :

    By booking one of our trip, we assumed you have understood and accept this 

    reservation policy. And to book a trip for you, we require a payment equivalent to 30 % 

    of the total amount due.

    Once you have selected the trip which best suits your needs, we will e-mail you our 

    bank account details. 

    The balance of your payment is due three weeks prior to your trip departure. Should 

    we not receive your final payment by this time, we reserve the right to cancel your 

    booking without refund.

    Full payment is required when booking three weeks or less prior to your trip. We 

    require you to pay in 

    IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) following the exchange rate valid at the time you settle up 

    payment.

5. Cost of Tour Includes :

    -  TRANSPORTATION, group travel by non air-conditioned coach, boat or canoes as 

       indicated. Air-conditioned coach is subject to availability at a higher rate. individual 

       tour (up to 5 person) travel by air-conditioned coach.

    -  TRANSFERS, transportation between airport and hotel (vise versa) or harbor and 

       hotel (as which see clause 5.a)

    -  ACCOMMODATION, based on twin or double bedded rooms (or cabin/ berths or on 

       open deck on boat) with private bath or shower and toilet (where available). In   

       villages we will stay in villager's house or campsite. Single and Triple Rooms, whilst 

       the facilities in these rooms are comparable to those of the twin or double bedded 

       rooms. It should be noted that single room may not always be in the same area of the 

       hotel as the twin or double bedded rooms and may tend to be on the small size. in 

       the case of triple rooms this usually consist of standard size twin room with extra bed 

       which may be of a camp-bed type.

    -  MEALS, full board meals. As specified in the tour itineraries, B=breakfast, L=lunch, 

       and D=dinner. Buffet style and table d' hotel meals served at some hotels or 

       restaurants, and simple meals provided by local cook during trekking adventures.

    -  SIGHTSEEING, excursions are detailed in the tour itineraries (except optional 

       excursion), including meeting service, guides, cultural performances and dialogues as 

       indicated, coaches, boats or canoes, entrance fees for places to be visited. Visit to

       places other then mentioned in the tour itineraries are usually made at the end of the 

       main excursion without any obligation for clients to make purchase.

   -  GUIDE, the service of Tour Guide in all matters pertaining to the tour operation. 

      Request for guide proficient in other languages should be made in advance and is 

      subject to availability at a higher Guide fees. 

6. Cost of Tour Does Not Include :

    -  Flights, visas, personal insurance, side trips and meals out

    -  Admissions to sightseeing as indicated in itinerary 

    -  Services of a full-time tour guide

    -  Single room or cabin supplements, travel insurance and optional excursion

    -  Cost of any personal nature such as: beverages, laundry, phone calls, faxes, e-mails, 

       excess baggage fees, end of tour tip to guide and driver (we recommend USD $ 3 - 5 

       or IDR 30,000 - 50,000 per person, per day), luggage handling, airport taxes and any 

       airfares (unless specified as included in the cost of tour). 

7. Cancellation :

    Nusa Wisata Small Group Adventure Specialist will not charge you for any cancellation 

    fee for tour and transfers as shown in the price. However, hotels, restaurants, or 

    carriers or contractors and other service suppliers charge a cancellation fee for services 

    taken or very late notification of cancellation. In such cases there is no choice but for 

    us to pass on these charges to you.

8. Refund :

    It is understood and agreed that refund cannot be made to client who do not complete the tour for any 

    reason whatsoever.

9. Responsibility :

    Nusa Wisata Small Group Adventure Specialist only act as agent for transportation, 

    accommodation, restaurant and other services from various independent suppliers who 

    are not affiliated to us in any way. Although it tries to choose the best suppliers in the 

    best available, Nusa Wisata Small Group Adventure Specialist has no right to control 

    their operations and cannot, therefore, be held liable for any personal injury or 

    property damage which may occur due to:

    -  Wrongful, negligent or arbitrary acts or omission on the part of suppliers, its 

       employees and others not under the direct control of Nusa Wisata Small Group 

       Adventure Specialist.

    -  Defects or failures of any vehicles, equipment or instrument under the control of 

       independent suppliers.

      The program of tour and its tariff in this website operates from the date of going to

Day-to-day Itinerary 

Day 1: LABUAN BAJO- ARRIVAL (-/ -/ D). Uppon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo West Flores, our local guide will meet you and transfer to a sea view restaurant for lunch. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner serves at restaurant. Stay overnight at Hotel Golo Hilltop or Bajo Eco Lodge. 

Day 2: SAFARI DIVE TO BATUBOLONG, TATWA AND PINK BEACH (B/ L/ D). Today we begin to join the safari dive adventure that features the amazing underwater lives surrounding of Rinca and Komodo Island. Your first and second dive will be made at Batu Bolong and Tetawa sites, and the third dive/ night dive at the Pink Beach nearby Komodo Island. Meals and stay overnight ON BOARD. 

Day 3: KOMODO TREKKING, SAFARI DIVE TO NAMO, SERRA AND MANTA (B/ L/ D). Sail ashore to Loh Liang harbor of Komodo Island to fill in visitors registration book at Komodo National Park then take an hour mild trekking to Banugulung--former feeding ground to see the Komodo Dragons in the wild. During our way into the “Jurassic Park” you may see colourful birds, wild boar, deer, and other natural livings. Since feeding activity was stopped some years ago as to let the Komodo Dragons going back into their natural habitats, opportunity to see the Komodo Dragon itself is quite a wait and patient. On our way back to the boat have a short stop at Komodo cafe as to allow you do some shopping for Komodo branded T’ shirt, hat, key hanger, statue and a lot more are on display. Back to boat for continuing your safari dive programs. Your first and second dive will be made at Namo and Serra dive sites while the third at Manta, located south of Komodo Island. Meals and stay overnight ON BOARD. 

Day 4: SAFARI DIVE TO YELLOW WALL, CANNIBAL ROCK & DEADMAN ISLAND (B/ L/ D). Continue our dive program and today we explore Yellow Wall and Cannibal Rock for first and second dive, and the third will be made at Deadman Island. In the afternoon return to Labuhan Bajo. Lunch ON BOARD. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Golo Hilltop or at Bajo Eco Lodge.

Day-to-day Itinerary

Day 1: LABUAN BAJO ARRIVAL - RINCA ISLAND (-/ L/ D). Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo West Flores, our local guide will meet you then transfer to Golo sea view restaurant for lunch. After lunch drive down to Labuan Bajo harbor, continue embarking on a motorized fisherman’s wooden boat to Rinca island. Arrive at Loh Buaya - Rinca island, follow the trail until reaching the Forestry Conservation Post for visitors’ ID registration. Trek inland to Wae Waso in search for Komodo Dragon and other wildlife such as water buffalos, monkeys, deer, megapode, wild boar and various colorful birds in their natural habitats. Usually some of the Komodo Dragons stay around under the stage of ranger’s houses both in Rinca and in Komodo islands. At a higher point Rinca offers a spectacular view over the island’s landscape and the sea. Dinner and stay overnight ON BOARD (well organized for your comfort) or at Ranger’s House.

Day 2: RINCA ISLAND - KOMODO ISLAND - LABUAN BAJO (B/ L/ D). Early morning sail to Komodo island then take a mild trekking inland to Banunggulung—a former feeding station--passing through tropical dry forest and explore the Island. In this area you will find many wildlife such as deer, wild boars and numerous birds such as lesser-sulphur -crested-cockatoo, collared king-fisher and a lot more natural livings. Since feeding activity was stopped some years ago as to let these giant lizards going back into their natural habitats, opportunity to see the Komodo Dragon is quiet a waiting and patient. But by the ranger’s house usually there are still some lazy Komodo Dragons hanging around. A local ranger will lead you through this natural preservation. On way back to boat will have a short stop at Komodo cafe as to allow you do shopping for Komodo branded T’ shirt, hat, key hanger, statue and a lot more are on display. Lunch on boat while sailing to Pantai Merah (=Pink Beach) for snorkeling or swimming in the clear crystal water--a lot of beautiful tropical coral reefs and colorful fishes to explore beneath this sea, or just having sun bathing on beautiful pink sandy beach. Sail back to Labuan Bajo and transfer to your hotel. Dinner serves at Golo sea view restaurant. Stay overnight at Golo Hilltop or Bajo Eco Lodge. 

Day 3: FULL DAY BOAT TRIP TO SABOLON & SERAYA KECIL ISLANDS (B/ L/ D). Relaxing on the Beach. Today we have a full day boat trip to Sabolon island and its your time to do snorkeling, swimming or just relaxing on white sandy beach--very quite palce. Lunch serves at Seraya Kecil island. After lunch you may do some more snorkeling, swimming or relaxing around Seraya island. Sail back to Labuan Bajo and transfer to your hotel. Dinner serves at Golo sea view restaurant. Stay overnight at Golo Hilltop or Bajo Eco Lodge.

Day 4: LABUAN BAJO - DEPARTURE (B/ -/ -). A morning excursion to Batu Cermin Cave then direct transfer to Komodo airport for your flight to next destination. Our service ends!

Drive, trek and ride on horseback through beautiful coastline, un-spoilt inland villages, huge rain forests and mountain landscapes, spectacular wide green expanses savannah that filled with hundreds of half wild-breeding buffaloes, horses and caws, refreshing rinse in natural springs, mountain lake Tiwu Sora--the home of three colored giant eels, twin waterfalls, to enjoy magnificent golden sunset and sunrise and so much more. Day-to-day Itinerary

Day 1: MAUMERE - ARRIVAL (-/ -/ D). Upon arrival at Frans Seda airport of Maumere - Flores, our local guide will meet you and transfer to hotel for your accommodation. Dinner and stay overnight at Wailiti Beach Resort or Hotel Sylvia.

Day 2: MAUMERE - PISE - DETURIA (B/ L/ D). At 8:00 am leave for Pise village with stops at selected view points for making photo of spectacular coastline and mountain panorama. Pay a visit to Pise primary school--a chance to interact and observe how the basic academic life in remote area looks like. Start trekking from here to Deturia village with more stops to see and feed salt to buffaloes, making pictures of horses and caws spreading over wide expanse green savannah. Refreshing rinse in natural spring and breathing fresh air of rainforests. At night in Deturia interact and share experience with Adat Leader, eat local dinner and sleep overnight at villager’s house.

Day 3: DETURIA - TIWUSORA - MURUSOBE - DETUKATO (B/ L/ D). At 1,400 meters in height, Deturia offers a cool refuge from the warmer temperatures on the coast. This mountain trek leads through rainforests and an ever-changing array of vegetation specific to each altitude. Early morning trekking uphill to Mbotu Sora to have a spectacular view over Flores sea, Tiwusora lake, Kelimutu and its mate mountain Kelibara at far distance and the magnificent golden sunrise. Trek down to Tiwusora lake and see the home of three colored giant eels by closer distance—local people believed to it as ancestors. Walk below the rainforests without making noise then you could watch birds and listening them singing beautiful rhythm. Mind your step from leaches suck your blood. Return to Deturia village. After breakfast take a walk around the village and let yourself be treated by friendly locals. Continue trekking downhill to Detukato village and to Murusobe to see a 100 meters in height Twin waterfalls and refreshing rinse in natural swimming pool. Simple local dinner and sleep overnight at villager’s house in Detukato village.

Day 4: DETUKATO - POMA - PANTAI KOKA - MAUMERE (B/ L/ D). Simple breakfast in the village, ride on horseback or by wooden truck to Feondari then by car to Pantai Koka beach. Our way down to Feondari offers beautiful landscapes as far as Paga beach and Indian Ocean Lunch at Laris sea view restaurant in Paga, provided with Special “Ikan Bakar” (Grilled Fish). Heading to Pantai Koka and opportunity for you to swim, snorkeling or just lay down on white sandy beach. Around 4:00 pm return to Maumere. Dinner and stay overnight at Wailiti Beach Resort or Hotel Sylvia.

Trekking Overview

At 1,239 meters in height, Mt Mbeliling offers a cool refuge from the warmer temperatures on the coast. This mountain trek leads through rainforests and an ever-changing array of vegetation specific to each altitude. And Sano Nggoang at 500 meters in depth, the deepest volcanic crater lakes in the world. Early morning light reflects the surrounding mountains in the lake’s sulfuric waters, shrouding the area in an ethereal layer of fog. Tado, a traditional Manggarai community where hand woven textiles, elaborate rites of passage and yearly cycles of ceremonies remain central themes in the daily life of its people. Respectful and interested visitors to Tado are assured of a warm welcome. Wae Rebho, the most traditional village where Manggaraian tribal ethnics are dwelt, located hidden among mountains feet.

Day-to-day Itinerary

Day 1: LABUAN BAJO ARRIVAL (-/ -/ D). Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo West Flores, our local guide will meet you then transfer to hotel for meals and accommodation. Afternoon free program. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Golo Hilltop or Bajo Eco Lodge.

Day 2: LABUAN BAJO - MBELILING - SANONGGOANG (B/ L/ D). Deperture by car to Roe village (21 km from Labuanbajo). Start trekking from here for 3 hours to Mbeliling through beautiful Werang. On the way you can see Flores endemic birds such as Flores hanging-parrot Loriculus flosculus. Flores crow Corvus florensis and many other birds. Explore pure nature, rain forest and interact with local people. Take some relaxation at Cunca Rami Waterfall. Lunch will be provided by local people in Werang. In the afternoon drive to Sano Nggoang--a volcanic formed slopes and flat ridges area. There is a crater lake in the active mountain of Wae Sano. Dinner and stay overnight at Villagers House. 

Day 3: SANONGGOANG - TADO (B/ L/ D). Start your new day by walking around the deepest crater lake of Sano Nggoang, feel close to nature and local people. Afternoon drive to Tado--Community Based Eco Tourism--participate in eco tourism activities—get in touch with local people, join their activities or request some programs such as Ancient Rituals, Jungle Survivals or Traditional Artistantry and crafts. Dinner and stay overnight at Villagers House.

Day 4: TADO - DENGE VILLAGE (B/ L/ D). Depart by wooden truck to Denge—drive through southern coastline of Nangalili, discover southern part of Manggarai—stops for relaxing and swimming at Dintor and for making picture. Dinner and stay overnight at Villagers House in Denge.

Day 5: DENGE - WAEREBHO (B/ L/ D). Take a 4 hours trekking to Wae Rebho village--the most authentic traditional house of Manggaraian tribal ethnics--located at 1000 meters above sea level and surrounded by mountains. All houses in this village are traditional with very tall thatch roofs with inside the roofs has 5 levels--the top four mainly used as storage while living area located at the bottom. Here we will stay overnight in a house with 8 families (traditional sleeping mattresses provided). A great opportunity to get in touch with village people, learn by seeing, asking, and feeling their culture, life and activities. Dinner and stay overnight at Villagers House.

Day 6: WAEREBHO - RUTENG (B/ L/ D). Trek down to Denge village. Lunch will be provided in Denge. After lunch drive up to Ruteng with some stops in Narang with its spectacular spider-web-like-rice terraces and scenery. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Dahlia or MBC Missionary Guest House in Ruteng.

Day 7: RUTENG - BAJAWA (B/ L/ D). After breakfast departure from your hotel to visit Golo Curu with its very nice scenery from Ruteng town and rice field, back to Ruteng and visit Ruteng Puu before you leave for Bajawa, on the way stops in Rana Mese lake, Aimere and Bena Traditional village of Ngada. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Bintang Wisata.

Day 8: BAJAWA AND SURROUNDINGS (B/ L/ D). Early morning at 5 am drive and trekking up to top of Wawo Muda volcano for approx 1.5 hours. Opportunity to explore this volcanic landscape with spectacular views surrounds. Return to town and in the afternoon visit Soa hot spring for soaking up in warm water. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Bintang Wisata.

Day 9: BAJAWA - DETUSOKO (B/ L/ D). Leave Bajawa with several visits to Wogo traditional village, Pengga Jawa beach to see the blue rocks filled bay and lunch in Ende. Continue to Detusoko-- soft trekking for exploring the village of Detusoko. Dinner and stay overnight at St. Franciscan Missionary Guest House.

Day 10: DETUSOKO - KELIMUTU - MAUMERE (B/ L/ D). At 04:15 drive and trekking up to Kelimutu - the inexplicably three colored crater lakes (Brown, turquoise and Black), the most spectacular and mysterious sight of Indonesian. After exploring the lakes we hike and driving down to parking area. From here trek down through natural trail while watching birds and listening to the natural voices. Back to vehicle driving down till former Forestry Conservation Post then follow another trekking trail passing through beautiful villages and waterfalls till we reach the Trans Flores High way and continue to Paga and Maumere. Dinner and stay overnight at Sea World Club Cottages or Wailiti Beach Resort.

Day 11: MAUMERE - DEPARTURE (B/ -/ -). In the morning free program at your hotel until departure time to Wai oti airport for your flight to next destination. Our service ends!
