Drive, trek and ride on horseback through beautiful coastline, un-spoilt villages, beautiful rain forests and mountain landscapes, refreshing rinse in natural springs, see wide expanses green savannah that filled with hundreds of half bred buffaloes, horses and caws, visit mountain lake with its three colored giant eels, meeting and interact with friendly villagers, snorkel or swimming in clear crystal waters and lay down on beautiful white sandy beach. Simple lunch provided by local cook at Deturia village.
Day-to-day Trekking Itinerary
Day 1: MAUMERE - ARRIVAL (-/ -/ D). Upon arrival at Frans Seda airport of Maumere - Flores, our local guide will meet you and transfer to hotel for your accommodation. Dinner and stay overnight at Wailiti Beach Resort or Hotel Sylvia.
Day 2: MAUMERE - PISE - DETURIA - TIWUSORA - KAJUWULU (B/ L/ D). At 7:00 am departure by car or wooden truck to Pise village with stops at selected view points for making picture. Pay a visit to Pise Primary School--a chance to observe how the basic academic life in remote area looks like and interactive with teacher and students. Start trekking from here to Tiwusora lake passing through Deturia village with more stops for seeing and feeding salt to half bred buffaloes, making pictures of horses and caws that spread all over the wide expanse green savannah, rain forests and refreshing rinse in natural springs. Return to Deturia village, having local lunch while interactive with friendly Deturian people. Ride on horseback and return to Pise where our car or truck has waited for us. Drive down to Kajuwulu beach and opportunity for swimming or snorkeling in clear crystal water or just lay down on white sandy beach until afternoon. Drive back to Maumere. Dinner and stay overnight at Wailiti Beach Resort of Hotel Sylvia.
Day 3: MAUMERE - DEPARTURE (B/ -/ -). Transfer to Frans Seda airport for your flight to next destination. Our service ends!
