Day-to-day Itinerary
Day 1: LABUAN BAJO ARRIVAL - RINCA ISLAND - KALONG ISLANDR (=Flying Fox Island) (-/ L/ D). Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo West Flores, our local guide will meet you then transfer to Golo sea view restaurant for lunch. After lunch drive down to Labuan Bajo harbour continue embarking on a well modified fisherman’s wooden boat to Rinca island. Arrive at Loh Buaya - Rinca Island, follow the trail until we reach the Forestry Conservation Post for visitors’ ID registration. From here we trek inland for approx 3 hours in search for Komodo Dragon in their natural habitats. Scientists call this giant reptile as “Varanus Komodoensis” while local people call it as “ORA’. Usually some of these reptiles stay around under the stage of ranger’s houses. You may also see water buffalos, monkeys, deer, megapode, wild boar, various colourful birds and other natural livings. At a higher point Rinca offers a spectacular view over the island’s landscape and the sea. Trekking down back to boat and sailing towards Kalong Island to see flying foxes flying out of mangrove forest as to hunt for their night meals, especially fruits. Dinner and stay overnight ON BOARD (well organized for your comfort).
Day 2: KALONG ISLAND - BIDADARI ISLAND - LABUAN BAJO - DENPASAR (B/ -/ -). Early breakfast on board. Morning sail to Bidadari island for snorkeling or swimming in clear crystal waters--enjoy beautiful coral reefs and colorful fishes. Proceed to Labuan Bajo harbor and transfer directly to Komodo airport for your flight to next destination. Our service ends!
