Trekking Overview

TREKKING WAEREBHO, DIVE DEEP INTO FLORE’S HIDDEN TRADITIONAL VILLAGE. Waerebo is the most remote Flores’ oldest traditional village where the Manggaraian tribal ethnics dwelt. Drive and trekking through spectacular coastal view and mountain scenery and toward the end of trip you will be required to trek uphill passing through beautiful rain forests with various endemic birds singing on the trees, waterfalls an So Much More.... 

Day-to-day Trekking Itinerary

Day 1: LABUAN BAJO - ARRIVAL (-/ -/ D). Upon arrival at Komodo airport of Labuan Bajo - Flores, our local guide will meet you and transfer to hotel for your accommodation. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Green Hill or Golo Hilltop.

Day 2: LABUAN BAJO - DENGE/ DINTOR (B/ L/ D). Drive inland and observing beautiful panoramic views, villages and rice fields. Lunch at local restaurant in Lembor or picnic lunch provided en-route. At noon drive to Denge village. Spend afternoon time to interact and sharing experience with local people and seeing them doing their daily activity. Local dinner and stay overnight at Villager’s House in Denge. 

Day 3: DENGE - WAEREBHO (B/ L/ D). Trek uphill through beautiful rain forests to reach Wae Lomba - a creek as first stop after approximately one hour trekking from Denge. The atmosphere of being in the forest here is so real while listening to song of Asian Paradise Flycatcher and voices of other natural livings. Proceed to Post 2 at Pocoroko a vantage point for picturesque views toward Savu sea in the south. It is the last place for cellular phone signal availability. Next stop will be at Nampe Bakok - a place where you will have a complete view over traditional village of Waerebo—so spectacular. Arrive at Waerebo by midday. Lunch and dinner will be provided by local cook in the village. Spend the whole afternoon in the village to comprehend the local's way of life and its surrounding, interact and sharing experience with them. Local dinner and stay overnight at Villager’s traditional house--experience of being in the locals home yourself.

Day 4: WAEREBHO - LABUAN BAJO (B/ L/ D). Spend your morning in the village, walk around and let yourself be treated by friendly locals, seeing morning life of the peasants then trek the same way back but walk downhill until reaching a point where our car is waiting for taking you back to Labuanbajo. Lunch will be provided en route. Arrive in Labuabbajo by late afternoon. Dinner and stay overnight at Hotel Green Hill or Golo Hilltop.

Day 5: LABUAN BAJO - DEPARTURE (B/ -/ -). Transfer to Komodo airport for your flight to next destination. Our service ends!
